~Questions and Answers~
Question: Who does the voices for the characters?
Answer: You can find that answer in the "Cast Info" page or on the video descriptions on the episode stream links.
Question: What programs do you use to make your videos?
Answer: I use a mix of Windows Movie Maker, Adobe Premiere Elements 2.0, VirtualDubMod, Goldwave and Deleter Illust 2.0
Question: Where did you find the people to do the voices?
Answer: I searched everywhere but the main places I searched was the Voice Acting Alliance Forum, Youtube and DeviantArt.
Question: Where do you find your video footage?
Answer: I downloaded all the episodes through bittorrent but now I'm using Japanese DVD footage. You can download subless episodes in the "Raw TMM/MMP Episode Downloads" section of this site.
Question: Where do you find your sound effects and music?
Answer: I download most of my sound effects from sounddogs.com . As for the music, you can find download links at the MewProject.net forums. Look at the website and forums. It's the greatest Mew Mew website there is! Just type the address mewproject.net !
Question: What's the process of making your episodes:
Answer: 1: BobCat(starting episode 6 onwards) and I create the script together.
2: I create a trial video so the cast can have something to lip-sync to.
3: I put both the script and video into a zip folder, upload it and send the link to
the cast to download it.
4: Then I wait for the cast to send me their lines either through e-mail or instant
message(this usually takes up to 2 months but I'm hoping to try to make it sooner).
5: Once I got all the lines, I gather the final video, music, and sound effects and
it's off to, usually, 2 sleepless days of editing and putting the whole thing
together with Adobe Premiere Elements.
6: After it's finished processing, I compress the audio with Goldwave and compress
the video with VirtualDubMod into a reasonable sized AVI formatted video for the
downloadable version.
7: Then I create a high-quality WMV formatted video through Windows Movie
Maker to upload on Youtube.
8: Now all that's left is for you to enjoy!
Question: Can I have (insert name's) role?/Can I voice act in your fandub?
Answer: I made sure that all of the main cast is filled before I even started this parody. If there's an extra that needs to be filled, I'LL be the one to go around and ask for auditions. I will not give a role to just anyone just because they have a microphone. Good acting is a key into getting a role.
Question: How do you download the episodes from the Megaupload site?
Answer: 1: After clicking the download link, you'll go to the megaupload page.
2: Type the 4 letter code that's on the top right corner of the page and
press "enter."
3: It'll take you to another page where it'll show a 45 second countdown. Once
the countdown finishes, it'll change into a button that says "download."
4: Press the download button and a saving window should automatically appear.
Question: I downloaded a Mew Mew episode but I can only hear the audio. Why can't I see the video footage?
Answer: The reason for this is because you don't have the right codec to watch AVI video files. Most high-quality videos watched online are of this format. You need to download the codecs in order to watch them. Don't worry, they're free and there are no viruses or spyware.
First download the Divx codec. (download the Free version since that's all you need, the Pro one costs money. If the download says that they want to offer you Pro, say No.) At this address: http://www.divx.com/divx/windows/codec/
Then download the Xvid codec(if you own Windows, click the "Xvid for Windows" option and it'll show you the download link for it) at this address: http://www.xvid.org/Downloads.15.0.html
After you install all that, you should be able to see the video and any other AVI type file you want to download.
Question: I downloaded the codecs and now the video works but when I put it through Windows Movie Maker, there's a huge green bar covering half of the video. How do I get rid of this?
Answer: This problem is really common to people who use the Movie Maker on Windows Vista. To get rid of the green bar, follow these steps.
1: Click the start button(the button on the lower left corner of your computer screen. It'll either say "start" or have a Windows icon on it) and then press "All Programs".
2: Find and click the "Xvid" folder and click on the icon that says "Configure Decoder."
3: Check the box that says "Compatibility Renderer."
4: Click "Apply" and "OK."
That should fix the green bar problem the next time you use Windows Movie Maker.
