Tokyo Mew Mew In a Nutshell is a parody fandub series that I thought of doing around the begginning of 2006. After gathering a very talented cast, buying all the computer programs I needed and writing the script for the first episode, it finally premiered in February 2007. Despite it having a different type of humor, a lot of fans compare it to an Abridged Series and is now the official Tokyo Mew Mew series of the Abridged Community. All of the characters' personalities are changed to resemble what people make them out to be in fanfiction and the humor is a lot cleaner so it's for everyone to enjoy. So, to make it straight to the point, this parody makes fun of the fans who do pretty outrageous things to the characters of the show in their fanwork.
Character Changes:
Note: *all original Japanese ages and other small details are the same but attack names and transformation phrases change every episode*
GIRLS:
-Ichigo Momomiya-
Ichigo has turned from determined leader of the Mew Mews to a vain, airheaded dimwit. She's only dating Aoyama because she knows that since he's smart, he'll most likely be rich when he grows up. She also believes that no one is a beautiful as her and she's not afraid to show it. Right now she's currently trying to get used to her slave labor lifestyle and trying to get revenge against Kisshu since having someone ugly like him kissing her is something unforgivable.
-Mint Aizawa-
Mint has turned from rich girl with a slight snobbish attitude to a stuck up hypochondriac(she's afraid of germs and getting sick). She lives in a huge house with her dog, Mickey Mouse. She refuses to work since she's worried that cleaning will get her in contact with germs and make her sick. She also doesn't like touching the other Mew Mews, knowing that they have germs. She's slowly getting used to the Cafe since she claims that Ichigo's been doing a good job keeping it clean that she has nothing to worry about.
-Lettuce Midorikawa-
Lettuce has turned from a shy, sweet girl to a girl who only looks for things that benifits herself. When Ichigo and Mint first find her as a Mew Mew, she attempts to kill them, claiming that they are Mary Sues that deserve to die. Lettuce's tends to leave when things get difficult to make Ichigo stress out more and likes to point out Ichigo's flaws. Her goal is to outmatch Ichigo as the "fairest of them all."
-Pudding Fon-
Pudding goes from a cute, energetic monkey girl into a sneaky demon child. She has a tendancy to say rude and blunt things right in front of the people she's talking about, even saying to Ichigo that her pores are clogged when they first meet. Because of how cute she is, she can get away with almost anything but under that bundle of cuteness lies an evil heart with a want for money, power and world domination, using any means necessary to get it!
-Zakuro Fujiwara-
*I will not post her bio until her episode premieres*
BOYS:
-Masaya Aoyama-
Ichigo's current boyfriend but only dating him because he'll most likely be rich someday. Aoyama's turned from a sweet, caring boy to a boy who is school smart but not smart about the things around him. He is also somewhat clumsy and is literally in love with nature. Aoyama also tends to die almost every episode(just like what fans do to him in fanfiction) but manages to come back to life in the next one. He also admits that his first love was a tree and has a fear of panicked crowds.
-Ryou Shirogane-
Ryou's turned from a smart, anti-social but kind in his own way boy to a Sentai Otaku freak. Power Rangers and other Sentai genre shows are his life and he created the Mew Mews to match a Sentai team. He even gave Ichigo a Sailor Moon like weapon due to him finding out that Sailor Moon was inspired by the Sentai genre. He also believes that his word is law(because Zordon says so) and makes Ichigo do most of his requests. His favorite pastime is watching Power Rangers marathons on Toon Disney and downloading bootlegged episodes.
-Keiichiro Akasaka-
Most of Keiichiro's kind personality is still intact but he has a few screws loose in this parody. He's gender confused and believes that girls will be husbands and boys will be wives. When he first sees Ichigo he claims that she will be his future husband and is currently trying to make it a reality(despite Ichigo turning him down every time he asks). He also believes that his ponytail is alive and even gives it the name PonyPie.
ALIENS:
-Quiche-
Quiche turns from a slighty obsessed pervert with a passion to an obnoxious stalker who has a thing for female beauty competitions. He's pretty lazy about his job and is willing to ditch it if something like "Miss America" is on television. He claims that "he tastes good" due to his name and tends to spot out odd things like theme naming and how he could win in certain battles(but chooses to ignore those facts).
-Pai-
Pai turns from a serious, quiet and devoted follower to an emo who hardly cares about much around him. He has a knack for appearing when he's not suppose to(he's not suppose to until episode 14 but pops up every now and then) and knows just what to say to make someone feel bad so they can be just as depressing as he is.
-Tart-
*even though he has appeared once, I won't put up his bio until he appears in an actual episode*
